Our Eastern-most base, MedSTAR 3, is located in Easton, MD., at the Talbot Country Airport. This base runs 24/7 and is staffed with MedSTAR’s normal configuration of a pilot and nurse/paramedic team; this allows for critical care transport of a wide variety of patients. Our helicopter in Easton can respond to all areas but is strategically located to provide primary support to customers in Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

The staff at the Easton base actively participates in numerous outreach and educational programs in their service area. These programs include helicopter safety, landing zone operations for pre-hospital providers and critical care education for our hospital-based customers.

The base is managed by Tommy Stotz, RN who has been with MedSTAR for six years. Tommy is a registered nurse and a licensed paramedic.
