MedSTAR Transport is a non-profit service based out of Washington Hospital Center. We utilize the outstanding patient services offered at MedStar Health facilities to further support our patients.

MedSTAR’s state-of-the-art Communications Center handles all of your patient’s needs with just one call. Regardless of the situation, we will expedite the referral, locate an admitting physician and coordinate the transport.

Strategically located Helicopter Bases throughout the Mid-Adlantic region provide reduced response times to better assist our critical care patients. Aviation services provided by Metro Aviation

The Ground Transport division provides Critical Care, Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and Wheelchair van services into or out of any MedStar Health facility. In addition we will provide critical care ground to all facilities with our flight crew when a flight is requested but flying is not an option.
