The mission of MedSTAR Transport is to provide quality critical care air and ground transport services for all patients in support of the mission of Washington Hospital Center and other hospitals within the mid-Atlantic region.

MedSTAR Transport will pursue its mission in the following manner:

We will provide state-of-the-art patient centered care throughout the peri-transport period while maintaining the following priorities:

We will provide an ideal air-medical transport model for the training of health care professionals and others interacting with our service. All necessary equipment and education will be provided to personnel so that they may perform at their highest level.

We will continuously improve our service by maintaining a quality improvement program and state-of-the-art knowledge base.

We will collaborate with local agencies and hospitals to identify and address their needs and concerns.

We will work to promote health and well being.
